Carmickles.com Photography Website
A month long project consisting of very much javascript & php coding. In the end the project was very fun and the ladies at Carmickle's were tremendously helpful when it came to obtaining information. It was a pleasure working for them. The process began in the dispute of whether or not to have a splash page with preview pictures. Instead we chose to go with an all around 1 page where you can access everything from that central location. It's quite 'boxy' but I think it represents a smooth/clean layout, with wonderful jquery and ajax galleries. Check it out at: http://www.carmickles.com
Mighty Eggs Campaign—Advertising Class
The assignment was to (after assigned a product) design and create a complete unique identity that would stand as a competitor for the leading brand. My target was Egglands Best. I created the Mighty Eggs identity, targeted towards adults through kids. A much more attractive and comfortable feel comes with the product. Assignments included a complete 6 page strategy report(design brief), the logo creation, packaging design, magazine ads, collateral piece(stickers), posters and other advertisments.
Bye, Bye London

Photo Manipulation and Flash!
Well with school starting up it's taken quite a toll on me really. Flash is great and the learning experience is everything I expected. I am so glad to finally be in interactive media it's wonderful. Math and English classes on the other hand...back to electives I guess. Anyways updated the portfolio and 'Personal Art' tab on the page. And upcoming freelance project as well!
Carmickle's Complete
With my longest project to date, I feel the overall visual appearance for carmickles demonstrates their high quality service, elegant and creative style of photography, as well as a color scheme of black on yellow to symbolize the bright attitudes and wonderful customer service. Carmickle's staff was quick on their toes to get this site released by launch date. Even though we didn't meet our deadline (can't help when mother nature decides to flood us) the cooperation and friendly environment at carmickles made this project more fun than anticipated. The final layout is slick, clean, and far distant from my normal style of design. Thanks to all the ladies at Carmickle's Photography for all your hard work and dedication to this project. Check the site out at: www.carmickles.com and drop them a line, let them know what you think of their portraiture, maybe even send an inquiry for an upcoming shoot?
Freelance in July
This month has been completely steady with work. I have just finished up a business card for a new client and that is available in the portfolio section. I am in the process of completing a website for 1 business and starting one for another company. So there will be quite a few updates on the way. A site re-design is in process and I plan on adding numerous other sections...News Comments, Testimony's, and a hand coded guestbook to name a few. Please keep checking back for updates. Thanks!
Joe Whaley Tattoo
I've just completed some work for a local tattoo artist. Working at Asgard Ink tattoo parlor at the moment, Joe Whaley was great working with. I had to create him a complete website, for his personal portfolio (as well as his brother's) and a contact page. He is very talented and anyone interested in tattoos should check him out! Check out his page at www.joewhaleytatto.com. Or head over to the portfolio section of my site and see a sample there.
Completion!
After a couple weeks total of work, my portfolio is finally complete for release. I plan to add my Guestbook soon. It's under construction. My portfolio section has work available to view, and all my contact information can be found either on my resume or on the contact page. Please feel free to contact me with any comments, questions, or suggestions. Thanks for visiting and look out for updates!
Thunder gone soft?
Is it just me, or has the fireworks they let off at Thunder over Louisville seemed to have "downgraded" over the years? I remember it used to be such a spectacular event and I feel like now, the overall feel of it isn't as strong as it used to be. I didn't get nearly as many photos as I wanted. Documented the night on video however, so I'm sure the world cant wait for that! Site still in the construction process. Check back in, the final version will be completed soon.
