Carmickles.com Photography Website

carmickles.com

A month long project consisting of very much javascript&php coding. In the end the project was very fun and the ladies at Carmickle's were tremendously helpful when it came to obtaining information. It was a pleasure working for them. The process began in the dispute of whether or not to have a splah page with preview pictures. Instead we chose to go with an all around 1 page where you can access everything from that central location. It's quite 'boxy' but I think it represents a smooth/clean layout, with wonderful jquery and ajax galleries. Check it out at: http://www.carmickles.com

Mighty Eggs Campaign—Advertising Class

Electronica Embraced

The assignment was to (after assigned a product) design and create a complete unique identity that would stand as a competitor for the leading brand. My target was Egglands Best. I created the Mighty Eggs identity, targeted towards adults through kids. A much more attractive and comfortable feel comes with the product. Assignments included a complete 6 page strategy report(design brief), the logo creation, packaging design, magazine ads, collateral piece(stickers), posters and other advertisments.

About Me

Hello, and welcome to my homepage/portfolio. I appreciate your visit and hope you continue to check for updates. First and foremost my name is Brad Oliver, but I'm commonly known as B–RAD. I have always focused my common interests' in Web and Graphic related design. Since the day I learned (at that time) HTML I was in constant pursuit of obtaining MORE knowledge. At 21 years old I feel well accomplished. By the year 2010 I will have my double concentration Associates Degree in both Web & Graphic Design. After this I plan to further my education to another University to obtain my Bachelors in Graphic Design/Web development. I would one day love to teach Web design, but owning my own business would be a great achievement as well. I love knowing I can wonder where life will take me. Motivation is what keeps me going.

About/History of my site

I've learned a great deal about the actual fundamentals of design since entering grad-school. It has helped me very much, but I never regret all the hours I spent as a child coding in what is now considered old school markup (html, dhtml, etc). I continuously kept and maintained an online portfolio thrueout my teenage years. One actually got to become a rather large site. I had bradsportfolio.com & forceFX.net up and running for years. So this would technically be my 20th release of online portfolios/websites. I consider this Brad's Online Portfolio Revised as my 20th website release it's very exciting (unfortunately with a different domain). I feel I've come a long way really and feel as if my site' have progressed very much. Contact me if you'd like more information.

About My Interest

→MUSIC

My musical taste ranges alot believe it or not. It completely depends on what mood I'm in. When I'm starting a new design, and beginning research and thumbnails, slower, alternative such as Staind, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Metalica (not alternative) and mix it up with harder rock and softer rock: Pink Floyd, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, Godsmack. When I'm out stringing or at the clubs I love Electronica Music to most known as 'techno'. Benny Bennassi, George Aucasta, Jackle–n–Hyde and not to forget my local DJS, CID, Dj DREK, Bong, Claycon, ProductiveTantrums, Asyylum, xNightmare, Lasher, bunch more can't remember right now. And of course my hip—hop goes on and on so I'll make it short: Eminem, Young Buck, Young Dro, Gucci, Bricks, T.I, 50, Kollasus, Rick Ross and of course me.

→Glowsticking

I've been spinning glowsticks for relatively 6 years now. It's always been a passion of mine. A lot of people find it interesting and very few know about the culture (and it really is A CULTURE). Check me out on www.youtube.com/unrecited
